The course is divided into two main sections: Primary Care and Secondary Care, each focusing on critical areas of emergency response.

The first part of our course is dedicated to Primary Care, which includes the most immediate and life-saving interventions. The skills you will learn here are crucial when every second counts.
Learn how to perform CPR, a vital technique that can save lives in cases of cardiac arrest. You will practise chest compressions and rescue breaths, understanding the critical timing and techniques required to maintain circulation until professional help arrives.
We will cover the types of severe bleeding.
Protecting the spine is crucial in cases of trauma. This section will guide you on how to immobilise and support a casualty with a suspected spinal injury to prevent further harm.
Learn the procedures to assist someone who is choking, from back blows and abdominal thrusts to more advanced techniques for severe cases.
After mastering the basics of Primary Care, we will move on to Secondary Care. This section focuses on further assessment and management of injuries and illnesses after the immediate threat to life has been addressed.
We’ll guide you on how to systematically assess injuries, from head to toe, identifying the extent of harm and prioritising care.
Proper bandaging techniques are essential for wound care and support. You will learn the different types of bandages to stabilise injuries and control bleeding.
Finally, we’ll cover how to create and apply splints to immobilise and protect injured limbs, minimising pain and preventing further injury.
By the end of the session, you will be equipped with the knowledge and practical experience to provide both primary and secondary care.
